more complex models if time permits. On launch day we'll try
some rocket racing. This will be over 5 sessions April 25

The
Littlest Tugboat
October
21st, 10:00am - By
Sarah Sherman McGrail -- The
Littlest Tugboat is a cheerful children's book about a family of
tugboats that works hard to guide ships up and down the Kennebec
River. Tommy, the littlest Tugboat, chafes when his mother tells
him to stay home during stormy weather, while his bigger
siblings are hard at work. When Tommy ventures out on his own,
he discovers a barge carried toward a low bridge by the
storm--only the littlest tugboat can save the day, and the
bridge, by guiding the barge to safety!
Please
join us for a reading and book signing of this wonderful local
children’s tale by a Southport Island native. After the
reading the author also will explain how she got the idea for
the story and how the book and illustrations come together to
make a book!
